The last few weeks have flown by! The heat wave and lack of rain promoted planting the thousands of seedlings we had started in the greenhouse. At the same time we were shipping the hanging baskets. It surprised us that we had sold all of them before making it to the farmers markets. As the word spread it became obvious that we need to double our efforts, again, for next year. We have hundreds of tomatoes all at 3 foot high and bearing fruit already! This week, our CSA’s will have strawberries, shelling peas, summer squash and broccoli in addition to the normal distributions.
The raspberries are forming fruit and growing strong! Should be a strong year for them. There are a few spots open in the summer CSA program. Call now, if you’re interested.
